MAC Cosmetics Monogram Collection. The Mac Monogram Collection will be released November 27, which is right around the Thanksgiving Holiday. I can't wait to go shopping on black Friday the day after Thanksgiving. The packaging is suppose to be red and gold and many are saying it's the products from MAC's annual couture collection (like MACCouture and The Stylistics). Here's what's in the new collection.

Mac Blot Powder Review. Mac Blot powder is good for the girls that like a matte finish and its an oily girls best friend. Formulated to keep shine at bay all day.
What Mac Says It Does: A unique pressed powder designed primarily to provide shine control without adding any noticeable colour or texture. Sets foundation, finishes faces. For use in professional situations and for frequent touch-ups. Blot Powder contains Mica and Silica to adsorb excess oils and reduce shine on the skin's surface. Can be applied with the puff that comes in the compact or with a powder brush like #129 Powder/Blush Brush. Perfect for touching up Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation throughout the day.
What I Say It Does: Many oily girls love this product but you guys know that I'm always honest about something. If I don't like it I'm going to tell you. Personally I didn't like this product. It didn't break me out or anything like that but after I applied it two hours later I was oily again. If I'm using a product that says it's made for oily girls I expect it to last at least 5 hours without me having to reapply it. I wanted this to work because I've heard such great thing but it just doesn't do it for me. I even tried the loose blot powder thinking that would work better and still shine two hours later. As far as the perfect product for me that keeps shine away is Bare Minerals Minerals Veil, that keep me oily free for at least 6 hours even if its really hot outside.
